I live in Ankeny, IA and I am currently a web developer and consultant. My primary development skills include PHP, ASP, ColdFusion, VB6, Javascript, CSS, MS SQL Server and MySQL. If you are interested in web development services, please visit the Services page for more information.

I have been a web developer since 2001, when I worked part-time for the University of Northern Iowa while studying for my B.A. in Management Information Systems. After graduation I went to work for The Mudd Group, an automotive advertising company in Cedar Falls, IA. For the first couple years I was the sole developer at the company and was in charge of creating all intranet applications.

Since April 2006 I have been an independent developer. Most of my work comes from New Directions in Computing, where I provide services on a contract basis. In this role I work with many different clients on an ongoing basis, doing everything from simple bug fixes and upgrades to complete project creation and project management. This has allowed me to learn multiple development languages to suit each client's needs and keep up with current trends in web development.

I am currently using Python and the Django framework so I can work with GreenSherpa.com.

Born in Iowa, I have lived in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area since I was 10 years old except for a brief stint I spent in Singapore. I work from my home office, and almost all of my customers are from outside Iowa.
